I'm not going to RWA this week. But you are, aren't you? All of you are going off to RWA and leaving me alone, with no blogs to read and no emails to look forward to in my inbox. I'm going to be tragically lonely, I can tell:-(.
Yeah, I know, your heart is bleeding for me *g*. I am planning on going to RT next year (although DH, aka the World's Cheapest Husband, doesn't know this and may have something to say about it... something negative, that is), and the year after that EPICon is local, so I gotta go there. So I don't think I'm going to RWA any time in the next couple of years. But that doesn't stop me from being cranky when I read about everyone buying glamorous outfits and getting pedicures and whatnot. The last "glamorous outfit" I bought was a T-shirt with roses on it, and the closest I've come to a pedicure lately is hastily shaving my ankles in the shower. (The glam life of a mom with too many kids!)
How many of you are sticking around this week? We can all slop around in our jeans and T-shirts and nonpedicured feet together...
I'm not going off to RWA. I'm not even a member yet, but that may change in the future. I do sense it is going to be a quiet week though.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to RWA either. Conferences are pretty intimidating for me. Maybe someday. When I'm rich, thin, multi-published, have a nanny, a cook.... Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to rwa either. But I booked an appointment for a pedicure yesterday only to discover when I arrived that somebody screwed up and I had no appointment. So my feet are still ugly and I won't be pitching anything this week.
