Edits

I got my first edits on The Shadows of Night this afternoon. I'll be tackling them first thing tomorrow. In the meantime, I gave them a quick read-through, and they all look very reasonable and helpful. I was amused by one comment-- I had written of my heroine, "Her heart pounded heavily in her chest," and my editor remarked, "Where else do you suppose it might pound?" Hee hee.
