Kid #3 has his birthday party tomorrow. (His birthday was actually a couple of months ago-- bad Mommy.) I set up his first birthday party to be a few weeks ago, but no one could make it. (Almost literally-- I had only one kid whose parents were certain he could attend.) So I cancelled and rescheduled. Now I have three kids coming. Out of eleven that were invited. I still have three kids whose parents haven't RSVPed, and whom I haven't managed to contact yet, and I hope at least a couple of them will come. But with my luck they're all out of town *rolls eyes*.
Still, I guess three kids coming for a five-year-old's birthday party isn't too bad. They can all have really big slices of cake!
