Boo on the weather

Unfortunately, the Fourth of July didn't go so great. It was a beautiful afternoon, but when we got to the fireworks show, thunder began to rumble. An immense storm rolled in, and we took refuge in tents and buildings, but alas, they eventually decided to delay the fireworks till tomorrow. The six-year-old wailed, and was further distraught when his face paint was damaged in the rain. But he was consoled by shiny glowstick necklaces and bracelets, and came home happy.
