Winners and losers
I was looking through my sales for the month, and shaking my head in perplexity at some of my sales. My top seller is a book under my hotter name, and I've sold 538 copies this month on Amazon. My worst seller is under the same name, and I've sold 4 copies on Amazon in February. They're both the same genre, and it's not at all clear to me why one continues to sell steadily (I've sold between 500-600 copies of it per month for several months now) and one has never taken off. It's weird.
That does make no sense! Especially if they have similar covers and blurbs?
ReplyDelete"Hotter name"? Do you publish under a pen name? And if so, what is it?
ReplyDeleteCarrie, email me at ellymeg at yahoo dot com and I'll tell you:).
ReplyDeleteI don't know why they sell differently, Jody. Maybe I should redo the cover on the poor seller and see if that helps. But I don't think the cover on the good seller is all that awesome either *shrugs*.
