*Blinks*

Yet another article on Fifty Shades of Gray, with this rather strange comment:

Sexual content is often shunned by the publishing world, said Los Angeles Times staff writer Carolyn Kellogg. "People have been really turned on by this book. It's so interesting that something considered dirty and second-rate is being embraced by the industry."

Seriously?? Has anyone writing for the mainstream media noticed that there are a huge amount of romances produced every year, and that gazillions of them are hot, spicy, or outright erotic? Goodness gracious, will you people please quit writing about this book like it's something shocking and brilliant and new to feature actual OMG sex!!! in fiction?
