The end of revision... I hope

DH finished reading over STRANGER last night, and I have corrected every flaw or plot hole he pointed out. However, he insists on reading it one more time before I submit it, just to make sure we caught everything. I emailed my editor and asked if I could send it to her now and email her later with any corrections, and she told me just to wait to send it after the final read-through. She says she's rescheduled it for the end of August, which leaves us "plenty of time" (her exact words). Problem is, she hasn't actually read the last 150 pages of the book... suppose she hates it?? Apparently she has faith in my writing ability, but I'd feel better if she had actually read the entire manuscript!
