Sold!

I'm pleased to say I sold my little children's book to a small publisher today. I won't give details till I've signed the contract. But I'm happy to have sold it-- it's a nice little story based very loosely on my older daughter's adjustment to skipping a grade, and I've always been fond of it (my daughter likes it too). The publisher plans to release it as an ebook first; it may be released in print eventually. We didn't discuss the matter of my name, but I assume she'll want me to use a pen name-- I'm not comfortable with writing children's books and hot romances under the same name, personally:-).



Anyway... there's yet another genre to add to my resume!
