According to Jess Michaels at the Passionate Pen, Avon is launching an erotic anthology trade paperback line in 2006, with both historical and contemporary entries. This is presumably based on Brava's success. Berkley and Pocket have produced similar anthologies, too.
As I posted last week, I asked Deidre on her blog if she was interested in representing authors based on novella-length work. The answer was no, but I wonder if agents might not begin considering offering representation based on novellas before too long. It seems to be a rapidly expanding market.
Anyway, agent or no agent, I'm going to finish my novella and start shopping that sucker around to publishers!
