Critique
My critique partner was nice enough to read I'll Be There For You (already!) and get back to me with some very useful suggestions. So I'm going through it and threading in various things based on her suggestions as well as DH's thoughts. This story is getting a bit long (30,000 words by actual count), but I still have a bit of room left to add things. Anyway, I'd rather it was very good but slightly too long than the right length but with gaping holes!

I think that's the right approach, Ellen. If the work needs to be longer for the story to be properly told, then go for it!
