I'm reading The Companion, by Susan Squires. I resisted it, because I don't like vampire romances much, but I loved her books Body Electric and No More Lies, so I figured I'd like this one. Sure enough, it's terrific, and I'm almost finished already (having just started it yesterday).
I keep saying that I don't like vampire romance, but that statement doesn't appear to be supported by the available evidence. Some other vampire romances I've really enjoyed this year are The Forever Kiss, by Angela Knight and If Angels Burn, by Lynn Viehl. For someone who doesn't like vampire romances, I sure seem to be enjoying quite a few of them *wry grin*.
