I just got back from the dentist's office, where I took child #2 to have a tooth extracted. It was a baby tooth, but it couldn't wait to fall out... it had a cavity beneath the gum line. They let me see it, and it had a very large rotten place in it. I can't figure out how that happened, since this particular kid doesn't like soft drinks, ice cream, or sweets very much. Anyway, she's had Tylenol, and she seems perfectly comfortable. Fortunately this kid has always had a very high tolerance for pain!
Now if I can just get the baby to bed and put the kids in front of a movie, maybe I can go through Farthest Space one more time and get it back to my editor...
