As I blogged previously, I've just joined RWA. I looked through the list of RWA loops, picked a few I'd like to participate in, and added them to my already enormous list of Yahoogroups. I received a message telling me I'd have to be approved, which is only to be expected on a group like that. Only thing is, it's been almost a week and I'm still waiting. Hello... moderators... are you out there? Can I come into the water and play? Pleeeeaaase?
Sigh. It's summer, and I know people are on vacation. But I want to get my money's worth out of RWA, so I really want to get started!
Feeing your pain, Ellen. I applied to PAN two weeks ago, and my local RWA chapter OVER A MONTH AGO, and still nada.

ReplyDeleteGee, I thought it was just me. That's terrible... as much as we're paying in dues, the least they could do is let us join the lists in a timely manner.

ReplyDeleteI've spent over $600 on RWA this year because I went to the conference and bought the conference tapes! A lot of money to spend to get to feeling rejected. Something similar happened to me. LOL.
