I've written 3000 words on my futuristic today, bringing it up to 13,500 words. I'd like to finish 15,000 words before the weekend so I can send my editor an update and tell her I'm halfway through.
I forgot to mention the baby got shots yesterday. This made him unusually cranky last night, and he refused to go to bed until 11:00, even with Tylenol (his normal bedtime is around 9:00). He slept in till 10:30 this morning, though, which gave me a lot of extra time to write!
