A quiet birthday

Today's my birthday. I am (I shudder to write down the number) 38. It seems kind of frivolous to mention something like a birthday, when everyone else is blogging about the survivors of Katrina, but it does help explain why I haven't gotten anything accomplished today... I've mostly been lounging around the house and loafing. That's what birthdays are for, in my opinion.

DH is taking me to Outback tonight. Maybe when the baby's a little older we can start getting a babysitter and ditching the kids for a few hours so we can go someplace nicer. Although Outback is actually one of my favorite restaurants:-).

  2. 38! You're a baby yourself!

I remember the days when we were tied down with the kids. Amazing how fast the time goes.

Have a good time at the Outback.
