I finally got How To Be a "Wicked" Woman, and I'm laughing my head off over the first story, MaryJanice Davidson's "The Wicked Witch of the West Side." OMG, this woman is funny. I wish I could learn to be this funny. Unfortunately, I don't think humor is a learned skill-- either you have it or you don't. And few of us are as funny as MJD. But it's something to aspire to!

  1. That story is hysterical. She is a pro at comedy. My only issue was that I finished and wasn't sure what the story really was about in terms of conflict and other novel-ish type items.

  2. Yeah... but conflict, shmonflict. When I read MJD I really don't care that much about the plot... I'm too busy rolling on the floor laughing!

  3. True. My favorite of hers is The Royal Treatment. The next in that series comes out soon and I'm sooo excited.
