If you're an aspiring author, and you figure once you break into publishing, you'll be safe from the scourge of rejections currently plaguing you, check out Lee Goldberg's blog, where he posts the rejection letters he received on The Man With the Iron-On Badge before finally selling it to Five Star. He has over fifteen rejection letters excerpted there, and he's a professional writer with a long list of credits. It's a bummer, but it's nevertheless important to know that even the pros get rejected... sometimes quite a lot!
