Getting ready for Christmas

Yesterday I read through Farthest Space: The Wrath of Jan to make sure there were no glaring errors (I didn't get to look over the galleys before it went to print), and it gave me an idea for the sequel. I wrote a few pages on that yesterday and a couple today-- it's up to a big five pages, or 1300 words. But that's okay, because I'm not supposed to be writing right now... I was really just jotting down the idea before I forgot it. I spent most of the afternoon today baking Christmas cookies-- chocolate-chocolate chip and lemon sugar cookies. They turned out pretty good:-).
