I have too many kids in the house. I haven't had time to make a blog entry today, let alone actually write. My kids alternate between playing peacefully together and suddenly exploding into battle. Sigh... it's not conducive to writing. I've pretty much decided to take a break for the remainder of the week.
New Concepts is on the cover of RT this month. I was a little dismayed by the wording on the cover, though: "Interracial romance! New Concepts Publishing's revolutionary new line." Is interracial romance "revolutionary"? If so, that says something unpleasant about the world in which we live, I think. Or maybe it's just indicative of the general conservativism that has tended to mark the romance genre. Either way, I don't like to believe that a line of interracial romances is truly "revolutionary." What do you guys think?
I went to the bookstore to look for it. I picked up the Feb. issue of ROF, but they didn't have RT yet. Looking forward to reading that article.
