Thanks for all the kind thoughts on the entry below... VH and I appreciate them:-).
The kids are back in school, and VH is back at work, and now I can get some work done. I'm trying to figure out what I want to work on. I have two books under contract, so you'd think I'd want to start there. But with one book, I can't seem to get hold of the editor to confirm she's gotten my contract, let alone when she might want the finished product. So I'm going to put that one to the side until I can manage to contact her. I also have a couple partials to get into shape for submitting. I owe my agent a partial, and I have this partial for a sequel to Farthest Space I want to get done. So I think that's what I'm going to do... work on one book under contract and two partials.
