Well, it's been a month, and I'm settling back into a routine. Despite the four kids, things are painfully and unpleasantly quiet. VH wasn't just my husband, but my best friend, and I'm suffering rather badly for lack of adult contact. It doesn't help that I haven't been able to get out much-- last week was spring break (four kids in the house! eeeek!), and on Sunday I couldn't even get to church because Kid #3 was ill. But that's just the way it goes some weeks.
This week the kids go back to school-- yay! I'm starting to write again, starting to cook again (for a while we got so much food that cooking wasn't necessary or desirable), and generally starting to get it together. I'll try to get back to posting here regularly, too, and maybe even get a newsletter out. I also want to get back to walking or exercise biking on a regular basis. It's hard to carve out the time to exercise with all the kids underfoot, but I really need to do that. I think it would make me feel better.
