No work today

Last night I was up at 2:00 am again and had several epiphanies on plot points that have been bothering me on the WIP. So I have lots of ideas for my novella. Alas, I can't write today because I'm meeting my dad for lunch. Dad is a widower, he's 87, and he likes to see me on a regular basis. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get to his house for a weekend visit in a while, so he is meeting me (and my three-year-old) in a city between our houses. We'll go for a drive, gab for a while, then do lunch at Ruby Tuesday's or somewhere similar. I enjoy hanging out with my dad, but I do wish I didn't have all these new ideas ricocheting around in my skull. Maybe I can get some writing done this evening!
