Getting stuff done

I wrote about 3000 words today on my futuristic, making it about 8500 words. Not bad, since I'm aiming at 30,000 words. I didn't get a chance to work on the paranormal because I, um, kind of slept in *grinning sheepishly*. I get two good writing times a day-- early in the morning before baby gets up, and in the afternoon while the baby naps. My early-in-the-morning time was shot today, by my own laziness, but since I did get some done this afternoon, I'm happy.

I'd write again this evening, but I have to take the oldest kid to her middle school orientation. My kid is starting middle school in September. I can't believe it...
