Yes, I'm working

I wrote 2000 more words on my futuristic, bringing it up to 10,500 words-- over a third done. I might have done more except OK (Oldest Kid) has a friend over, and so I couldn't just hide in my office while the baby slept and leave the kids to their devices. Still, not bad!

    Well done, Ellen! I haven't typed a single word for a whole month. As soon as I fight my way from under the piles of papers at my other job, I'll be ready to start again!
