I sent back the edited Nerd Prince yesterday. I expect to get my second edits pretty quickly, because the book is scheduled for the end of August. So that's something to look forward to *cough, cough*.
I mentioned below that one of my favorite songs right now is "Holding Out For a Hero," by Jennifer Saunders (from the Shrek 2 soundtrack). The toddler likes it too, with a few minor alterations in the lyrics:
I need a toddler
I'm holding out for a toddler who is short and sweet
He's got to be neat
From his head to his feet
And he's got to be cute and petite
I need a toddler...
Uh. Yeah. Well, I'm a romance writer, not a song lyricist. But the target audience likes it:-).
