We had a busy weekend. I sang a solo in church yesterday, and did surprisingly well despite the curse of allergy-voice. There's a lot of pollen in the air here, and I'm not alone in sounding like a bullfrog:-). But I did okay in spite of it.
Kid #2 went on her first overnight camping trip, and loved it. The troop leader told me she said happily several times over the course of the weekend, "This is the best day of my life!" They also sent me digital photos of her doing various stuff, and she was grinning from ear to ear in every photo. Apparently she likes camping!
I went over my desk this weekend and got rid of all VH-related junk. Not things like paperweights, but correspondence and stuff. His habit of keeping massive piles of paper around for five years meant that there was never a lot of room to work. And since this is MY workspace, I always found it mildly annoying to have to wade through all the piles of his stuff to get to the computer. It's all been filed appropriately or thrown away now, and my desk is nice and clear. Yay for organization!
Organizing is always good. Glad your kiddo had fun camping!
