Kid #3 turned six yesterday. I took the training wheels off his bike at his request, and lo and behold, he discovered he could quite easily ride a two-wheeler. So it was a big day for him.
I bought him a book on the human body (the kid is obsessed with learning about the human body and can recite the three kinds of white blood cells and every bone in the body and all sorts of facts about organs), and he was thrilled. He's probably the only six-year-old in the world who would get that excited about getting a nonfiction book for his birthday.
I was planning on taking him out for pizza, but unfortunately OK was horribly and tumultuously ill in the morning. So Kid #3 agreed to wait till tonight, so we could all go out for pizza together.
