My five (almost six)-year-old:
"Do people buy your books?"
Me: "Yes. Quite a few people do."
Him: "How do you dewiver them?"
Me: "I don't deliver them personally; they just show up on people's Kindles."
Him: "How?"
Me: "Um... through the air, sort of."
Him: "That's cweepy."
My kid of the same age thinks it is FABULOUS that we can click a button and download new Ivy and Bean and Berenstein Bears books for her. She thinks Whispernet rocks and I agree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great story! It's a hard concept even for some adults to grasp. It kind of reminds me of how they explain the concept of TV in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
