My son's thoughts on Whispernet

My five (almost six)-year-old:

"Do people buy your books?"

Me: "Yes. Quite a few people do."

Him: "How do you dewiver them?"

Me: "I don't deliver them personally; they just show up on people's Kindles."

Him: "How?"

Me: "Um... through the air, sort of."

Him: "That's cweepy."

  1. My kid of the same age thinks it is FABULOUS that we can click a button and download new Ivy and Bean and Berenstein Bears books for her. She thinks Whispernet rocks and I agree.

  2. What a great story! It's a hard concept even for some adults to grasp. It kind of reminds me of how they explain the concept of TV in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
