The long and winding road

DH continues to critique NEVER LOVE A STRANGER every evening. He's now up to page 200. None of his comments have required major rewrites, but he has pointed out several substantial logical flaws in the story, which I've fixed. I will never...write...a time travel...again...as long...as I live. Trying to make the plot hang together without paradoxes is enough to make my brain spin. Good thing I have DH!

In other news, the unicorn fantasy I'm writing with another author as a free story for NCP's birthday bash was returned to me yesterday. She added 3000 words, and they're excellent. It's becoming a very interesting story!

  1. Hi Ellen :-). Glad you liked my pen name :-). Dana is my real name & I have nothing against it but I thought it too unisex to write romance. Marguerite is actually Ffrench fo Daisy which as always been my nickname. Arotin was my late mother-in-law's maiden name so I took that as a tribute to her, plus I like the way it sounds with Marguerite, very French, oui? LOL. You have a beautiful site & I'll definately add it to my links when I get a chance.

  2. Hi, Dana, glad you dropped by:-). Marguerite is a slightly old-fashioned name; it was my grandmother's name, and she would have been well over a hundred by now. But I think it makes an awesome pen name for an author of historicals. BTW, I dropped by your site, and the excerpt I read was terrific!
